Planet Fitness is coming to Davis! The brand-new 40,000 sq ft gym at 2135 Cowell Blvd (former Rite Aid in Oakshade Town Center) is in the final stages of construction, with a grand opening expected in late 2025.

Construction crews broke ground in July 2025 after the Davis City Council approved the gym in August 2024. The massive space is being transformed with hundreds of cardio machines, strength equipment, Spa amenities (hydromassage, massage chairs, tanning), spacious locker rooms, and the welcoming, beginner-friendly atmosphere Planet Fitness is known for.
